the snow of Pian del Frais and
the Olympic Mountains of Turin 2006
“Passion lives here!” was the slogan of the XX Winter Olympics of Turin 2006 and it’s a motto that we still keep alive in our mountains, which are home to large and small ski resorts that can meet the tastes of the enthusiasts practicing all the disciplines of winter sports.
Certainly, our heart beats for the area of Pian del Frais, which is just 15 minutes by car from Susa and offers, at very attractive prices, 25 km of slopes, 6 of them off-piste, including an Olympic trail, the prestigious Rossignol. 3 beginner trails (BLUE), 5 intermediate trails (RED) and one expert trail (BLACK) please all types of practitioners of traditional skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
With a few minutes more of driving, you can visit dozens of kilometres of trails of the Via Lattea ski area (Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx, Cesana-San Sicario, Oulx, Claviere, Pragelato, Montgenèvre), which with its 400 km of slopes is the largest of the western Alps, and of Bardonecchia.
The special welcome for skiers is guaranteed by wide spaces for the ski-rooms in the hotel garage. In winter, the space dedicated to the motorcycling becomes a great and practical ski-room and the closed space reserved to bikes becomes the safe place where to store the materials and technical equipment.
